The International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM)
is a voluntary association
of physicians which sets standards for the aesthetic medical profession. The goal of the
association is to offer education, ethical standards, credentialing, member benefits and work
towards certification in Aesthetic Medicine.
The IAPAM offers physicians practicing aesthetic medicine access to the latest and most up to date clinical and practice management aesthetic industry information. Membership is open to all licensed physicians and residents.

The Spa Association is your one-stop organization for information, industry resources, education, and community connections in the spa industry. No other organization unites medical spas, day spas, resorts, hotel spas, and wellness centers. SPAA is the premier association for spa owners and business-to-business providers.
American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals (AAMEP)
The mission and goal of the American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals is to promote the highest standard of practice in Medical Esthetic Nursing and to enhance professional growth through education and certification, scientific inquiry and research, and facilitate the dissemination of current information, technical skills, and expertise. AAMEP recognizes the importance of alliance with all specialties that practice esthetic medicine, and it is through this alliance and sharing that facilitates positive growth and mutual respect in the medical esthetic arena.

The SPCP membership represents professionals in the industry who are dedicated to
promoting the ideals and standards of the SPCP, offering permanent cosmetics that are
conducted in accordance with safety standards specific to the permanent cosmetic process,
and those who stay abreast of and participate in industry activities.

Our mission is to promote the highest standards of care within the medical spa industry
by setting standards and guidelines; providing information and education to both

The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS)
The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery is a professional medical society whose members are dedicated to
patient safety and physician education in cosmetic surgery. Most members of AACS are dermatological
surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, head and neck surgeons, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, general
surgeons, plastic surgeons or ocular plastic surgeons all of whom specialize in cosmetic surgery.
AACS is the organization that represents cosmetic surgeons in the American Medical Association
through its seat in the AMA House of Delegates.
